Green Party leader Mike Schreiner stopped in St. Thomas this morning with Elgin-Middlesex-London candidate Amanda Stark.
For Schreiner it was part of a SW Ontario whistle-stop tour.
Schreiner was elected as Ontario’s first provincial Green Party MP four years ago in the Guelph riding.
He made his last-minute pitch to vote Green in Elgin-Middlesex-London and pointed out the other parties are amending their platforms because of the Greens.
Last month, Schreiner made his debut as the first leader of his party to participate in a provincial election debate.
Schreiner thanked those candidates for standing up for a better future.
He stressed it is now or never time to address the climate crisis and added every vote for the Green Party is a vote for “the future and the Ontario we want.”
