A 21-year-old Stratford resident has been charged by Elgin OPP in connection with a collision last October that resulted in the death of a London cyclist.
Kiya Dietrich was driving a stolen vehicle when they struck 59-year-old Michael Smith on Wilson Line east of Belmont Road in Malahide.
Dietrich is charged with failing to stop at an accident causing death, theft under $5,000 and possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime.
Dietrich will appear in St. Thomas court at a future date.
