A 44-year-old St. Thomas man has been charged with theft and arson after a fire-starting spree early Friday morning.
He was spotted on security video stealing mail and lighting mailboxes on fire and then moving on to set fire to garbage bags.
Firefighters extinguished both blazes.
Morgan Thomas was taken into custody and charged with theft of mail and two counts of arson.
He was held in custody for a bail court appearance.
