It’s their rhubarb sauce that made them famous, and this weekend is your chance to see what all the hype is about. That’s because the Rosy Rhubarb Festival officially makes its return to the Keystone Complex in Shedden, running June 11th and 12th.
Keith Orchard with Rosy Rhubarb notes that attendees can expect much of the same from years past, including kids activities, community yard sales and so much more.
And while the festival has been on hold the past couple years due to COVID, Orchard says they were able to use that time to make a few improvements.
He adds that when you’re out and about during the festival, you can take in a number of performances planned for the main stage. And while the weekend is all about fun, Orchard says that funds raised from the festival go back into the local community.
To date Rosy Rhubarb has raised over $1.2 million to help support initiatives at the Keystone Complex, including the Memorial Forest, the Picnic Pavilion, and the new library to name a few.
