Elgin OPP are investigating an assault in Southwold that is now being treated as a home invasion.
Tuesday afternoon, officers responded to a report of an assault at a Fingal Line address.
An individual posing as a delivery driver forcibly entered the residence. A second person entered the home and assaulted the owner.
Both fled the home in a black car. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The first suspect is described as a white male, early 20s, approximately 6’1, weighing 170 lbs. He was wearing an orange construction shirt, dark-coloured sweatpants with a black hoodie.
The second suspect is described as an Asian male, early 20s, approximately 5’8, weighing 140 lbs. He was wearing a light-coloured hoodie, jogging pants and a backpack.
