Playing ENCORE paid off big time for Tracy Ellis of St. Thomas.
She matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order in the May 31st LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.
She admitted she doesn’t always add ENCORE to to her tickets, but promised “I will now.”
The PSW checked her ticket using the OLG App and thought she won $10,000 at first.
“I was caught off guard by all the zeroes. It didn’t feel real,” she said. “I was with my daughter and her husband. We double checked it on their phone, and they were more excited than me. I was a little numb and in shock – I just can’t believe it!”
She plans to enjoy a shopping trip to Toronto, pay some bills, invest and share some of her winnings with family. Plus celebrate the beautiful outdoors with a camping trip.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Real Canadian Superstore in St. Thomas.
