Mini-golf it is. There was no need for debate Monday as members of city council unanimously approved a zoning bylaw amendment needed to allow an 18-hole mini-golf course on a vacant lot adjacent to the Pinafore Park entrance.
The proponent, Vyvyan Campbell wants to enter into a 20-year lease agreement with owner Don McCaig for a jungle- or zoo-themed mini-golf course.
The land is currently zoned as residential and needed a zoning bylaw amendment to permit such a use.
No details are available on when work will begin and an opening date.
