This week’s Destination Local Feature Sponsored by Elgin County Tourism and fuelled by Lynhurst Esso and Variety is The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority.
The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority is home to Springwater Conservation Area.
It’s just a 15 minute drive from St. Thomas and is the perfect spot to hit whether you’re looking to get out of the house for a few hours or even a few nights!
Brittany Bell, Program Support Assistant notes that Springwater offers a full service campground, day use facilities, hiking trails, year-round special events, including the famous Maple Syrup Festival and so much more.
But with over 260 rustic and scenic campsites, the fun doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down.
Bell adds that it’s not just campsite you can book through Catfish Creek Conservation Authority, but a number of facilities as well.
If all the activities aren’t enough to get you out to Springwater, the breathtaking scenery should be.
From the trees that change colours as the seasons do, to a multitude of streams and ponds covering their property, Springwater is the perfect spot for nature lovers this summer.
Stop in for a visit at 8079 Springwater Road, Aylmer, Ontario.
