With daytime temperatures hovering around the 30 C mark through the weekend, a day at the beach is an ideal way to cool off.
However, Southwestern Public Health note Port Stanley Little Beach, Port Burwell East Beach and Port Glasgow are reporting high levels of bacteria and are not safe for swimming at this time.
All other Elgin county beaches are reporting good water quality.
Beach water quality updates are available at swpublichealth.ca and also through 2-1-1, Ontario’s free information and referral service.
