Ontario residents who miss work because of a COVID-19 diagnosis will continue to have three paid days off after the province extended its temporary sick leave program.
The current program, announced by Premier Doug Ford’s government last spring, has been extended until the end of next March.
It was set to expire at the end of this month.
Eligible workers can get up to $200 a day for up to three days if they need to get tested, vaccinated, self-isolate or care for a family member with COVID-19.
