Police were called to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday after receiving a report of an unwanted person.
Once on scene, officers located security who were dealing with a 42 year old St. Thomas man in the parking lot.
Following an investigation, it was revealed that the 42 year old resident assaulted two security guards at STEGH.
He was taken into custody and charged with assault before being released with a future court date.
