If you’ve ever thought about a career as a firefighter, an upcoming Open House hosted by Central Elgin Fire Rescue may be your next step.
In an effort to recruit more volunteer firefighters for their 4 active stations located in Belmont, Port Stanley, Union and Yarmouth, two open houses have been planned for the month of August.
Central Elgin Fire Rescue is currently looking to recruit individuals who wish to give back to their community and enjoy learning new skills that will aid in assisting neighbours in their time of need.
To learn about the process, stop by the open house on either Saturday, August 27th at 1 p.m. at the Belmont Station (206 Caesar Road) or Tuesday, August 30th at 7 p.m. at the Port Stanley Station (5120 Sunset Road).
