Elgin County is making it possible for residents to share their sympathies on the death of Queen Elizabeth. You can sign a book of condolences available at the Elgin County Heritage Centre, 460 Sunset Drive until the date of the state funeral. The Heritage Centre is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Elgin County Warden Mary French notes the County was honoured to have Queen Elizabeth visit the area several times throughout her seven decades of service, resulting in – quote – “memories many locals will cherish forever.”
