The city’s clean and green, end-of-summer Harvest Festival kicks off Friday for a weekend of music, food and attractions in Pinafore Park.
The three-day event, hosted by the newly formed Good Vibes Community Association, is guaranteed to have something for everyone.
And as the clock ticks down, festival executive director Chris Allen enthusiastically announces, “bring it on.”

Allen offers a taste of what to expect.
He explains there are plenty of free daytime activities.
Opening ceremony is 10 a.m. Friday with performances by Eric Cormier and Justin Maki. Plenty of free parking at Memorial Arena.
What better way to bid farewell to a passing season than to gather together with friends, neighbours and family to celebrate the bounty of summer.
