A family’s dog went in hot pursuit of a thief early Wednesday morning in Central Elgin.
Around 3 a.m. a man entered a vehicle parked at a Talbot Line residence. The individual took money and a couple of gift cards before the dog interrupted proceedings and chased him off the property. He is described as thin and wearing a dark-coloured hoodie.
Elgin OPP are continuing with their investigation.
