A 47-year-old St. Thomas woman is not getting the message about drinking and driving.
Monday afternoon she was arrested for impaired driving after she was stopped by police on Elm Street with almost four times the legal amount of alcohol in her blood. Her third impaired driving charge. Police had received reports of a vehicle on First Avenue hitting two other parked vehicles and running a red light.
The traffic unit had to pin the vehicle when she failed to stop. She will appear in court at a future date.
