Note: There is a time change for the Locke’s Public School help centre as the time noted on the city website was incorrect. The correct time is now listed.
While election day itself is Oct. 24, remote internet and telephone voting in St. Thomas for mayor, councillors and school board trustees begins 10 a.m. Oct. 11.
Internet voting allows electors to vote from any location with an available connection on computers, tablets and cell phones.
Telephone voting allows people to call from any touch-tone dial pad, toll-free from anywhere in Canada and the U.S.
Using your PIN and date of birth allows you to vote by internet or phone.
For those electors who do not have access to a telephone or the internet and who need assistance, there will be mobile voter help centres set up at the following locations and times:
Oct. 15 and 22
The Elgin Centre, 417 Wellington Street from noon until 4 p.m.
Oct. 18
