In a deal announced last week, First Student Canada in St. Thomas has acquired the school bus and school charter services in Elgin county operated by Badder Bus.
Badder has operated school bus services in SW Ontario for more than 50 years.
Kevin Murray, branch manager at First Student Canada in St. Thomas, explains to myFM the number of routes and drivers involved in the transaction.
For many parents boarding their youngsters on to a school bus Monday morning they are not going to spot any differences.
And that is just fine with Murray who explains what parents can expect going forward.
The drivers working for Badder Bus will continue to operate their same school bus routes now they are driving for First Student.
Badder Bus will continue its coach charter business out of its St. Thomas office.
