This is small business week, a national celebration of Canadian small businesses and their owners.
Today myFM and the Small Business Enterprise Centre salutes newly opened Cobs Bread.
Open in St. Thomas for less than a week, franchisee Alicia Ryckman already had a retail background but was looking to run her own operation.
Their promise is simple. You can always be sure the day you walk into Cobs Bakery in St. Thomas is the day they baked it. Alicia Ryckman says that’s the reason she chose to become a Cobs franchisee.
For Ryckman, opening a Cobs Bread outlet in the city was a no-brainer. She was already a regular customer of the London store.
Ryckman is already generously giving back to the community, donating any leftover product at the end of every day.
