First Ave. will be closed on Friday (October 21) from Chestnut Street to Forest Avenue at 9 a.m. for approximately 3 hours for asphalt repair work.
Traffic will be able to go east or west on Chestnut St. heading northbound but only east on Forest Ave heading southbound due to the ongoing construction work to the west.
The hope is to have First Avenue reopened by noon or shortly after.
