The 2023 OPP Canine Unit Calendar is now available and the proceeds from sales support a couple of worthwhile causes.
Staff Sergeant David Gillan notes the calendars are a popular seller every year.
For more than 50 years, OPP canine units have supported frontline and specialized policing undertakings.
Gillan says all proceeds support the Friends of the OPP Museum and the OPP Youth Foundation.
On the technology scale, they are definitely old school. But who can resist a glossy paper calendar with 24 photos of the superstars in the OPP canine unit?
They’re all caught in training activities for the seventh annual OPP Canine Unit Calendar.
Gillan says the calendars sell out quickly and never need re-charging.
