While members of city council last night (Monday) had questions about parking and garbage collection, there was unanimous approval to proceed with zoning bylaw amendments for the Project Tiny Hope development on Kains Street.
The 40-unit affordable housing project, which will include a cluster of tiny homes, is a partnership between the YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin, Doug Tarry and Sanctuary Homes.
It will have limited on-site parking as a number of residents will not have vehicles and, instead, will rely on public transit or other forms of transportation.
