The Ontario government says certain businesses have until June to stock up on naloxone kits and train staff to use them.
Labour Minister Monte McNaughton says the province will also make the opioid antidote kits and training free to qualifying small businesses.
The province passed legislation last spring mandating that naloxone kits be available in high-risk workplaces such as construction sites, bars and restaurants.
