The newest art installation in the city’s core is a reflection on life downtown.
Literally.
It’s a series of 18 mirrors attached to pedestals looking across at artist Stephanie Boutari’s giant mural in the laneway at 365 Talbot Street.
Conceived by Maddie King and Andrew Gunn, they serve a two-fold purpose, explains Gunn.
Gunn notes the mirrors will be placed in storage over the winter and put back in place in the spring.
He explains the naming of the presentation.
As if the cluster of 18 mirrors isn’t unique enough, there is more to come with the latest downtown art installation.
Gunn adds it is all part of beautifying downtown St. Thomas with a surprise around every corner.
