A St. Thomas man convicted of drug and firearm offences has been sentenced to six-and-a-half years in custody.
Kyle Moir faced a lengthy list of charges after he was arrested in 2020.
An investigation by the St. Thomas Police Street Crime Unit let to a search of his downtown apartment where $60,000 worth of drugs and cash, along with multiple guns and ammunition were seized.
Moir was found guilty of the following offences:
- possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- possession for the purpose of trafficking crack-cocaine
- possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
- possession for the purpose of trafficking xanax
- possession for the purpose of trafficking oxycodone
- four counts of careless storage of a firearm
- four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- three counts of removing the serial number from a firearm
- four counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited
- possess loaded firearm
- 10 counts of failing to comply with a release order
