In an update from St. Thomas Police, the victim in the Jan. 7 shooting at a residence on Palm Street remains in London Health Sciences Centre. He had sustained life-threatening injuries after being shot in the torso. Members of the Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing to investigate and believe this was a targetted incident with no threat to the public. Incoming Chief Marc Roskamp called the shooting a rare occurrence for the community.
