After a rocky return last summer, things are definitely bouncing back with a vengeance in the travel industry.
Marion Rose at Elgin Travel and Cruises in St. Thomas says there is plenty of pent-up demand and she suggests booking as early as possible for upcoming vacation travel.
A plus for area residents, adds Rose, is an increase in the number of flights and airlines out of London International Airport.
However, she adds, there is one factor to take into consideration when planning for that next holiday destination or cruise of a lifetime.
Whether your dream vacation is Europe, the U.K. or perhaps the Caribbean, book that trip sooner rather than later.
Because of staffing issues and other factors, some airlines are offering fewer flights this spring and summer and so capacity may be limited to your destination.
Rose adds cruises, whether Alaska or Caribbean, are back and bigger than ever.
Elgin Travel and Cruises can be found in the Elgin Centre at 417 Wellington Street.
