Two area school boards are teaming up to present a webinar on human trafficking.
The Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School board are partnering with the London Abused Women’s Centre and the Salvation Army to host Protecting Our Youth: Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention.
The webinar is in recognition of National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
It’s an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn key information from Wendy Goldsmith, an advocate and counsellor with the London Abused Women’s Centre and Aura Burditt, a Salvation Army outreach worker.
The online event runs Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 7 until 8 p.m.
