A 53-year-old Salford resident has been charged after a two-vehicle collision Friday morning on Highbury Avenue north of St. Thomas.
Just after 10 a.m., emergency services responded to a collision involving a garbage truck and an SUV at Truman Line.
The four occupants of the SUV were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was uninjured. Elgin OPP have charged him with careless driving.
Highbury Avenue was closed between Ferguson and Thomson lines while repairs to damaged hydro lines were completed.
