For the second time in less than a week, Aylmer firefighters and police have had to deal with a major blaze.
Early Friday morning they were called to a fire in a newly constructed home on Aspen Parkway.
The home was destroyed and at this time the fire is being treated as suspicious.
Police believe at least one person may have suffered severe burns and they are asking the public to notify them if they know someone with such injuries.
The fire is not believed to be related to a fire Monday night on Talbot Street near John Street that destroyed a two-storey building and led to the closure of Talbot Street for much of the week.
No one was hurt in that incident, however ten people were displaced and the remains of the structure were levelled.
Cause of that fire has been listed as unattended cooking.
