A domestic dispute in Aylmer’s downtown core late Friday night has resulted in charges for a 37 year old male resident.
Shortly before 11 p.m., police say the male struck a female victim with a bicycle, pushed her to the ground, bit her and then alleged to have stolen an item from her bag before fleeing.
Officers were able to locate the man and place him under arrest, where he was charger with assault, assault with a weapon and robbery.
The man was held for court and was remanded into custody at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre.
