St. Thomas Police were called to Jackpot City gaming Sunday to investigate a case of Identity Fraud.
The incident began when a 48 year old St. Thomas woman attempted to claim a $1,000 winning ticket with fake identification.
As a result, she’s been charged with 2 counts of Failure to Comply with a Probation Order, 1 count of Personation with Intent (Identity Fraud) and 1 count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The 48 year old resident was taken to the police station where she was processed and released on an undertaking.
