If you’ve ever thought about how your tennis serve stacks up against the pros, a free community event this Saturday may just give you the answer.
The Pinafore Tennis Club, in partnership with the Ontario Tennis Association will be hosting a “Fun Day”, in an effort to promote and increase participation in the sport.
Noel MacKay, PTC Executive Committee Member, firstly explains what the local club is all about.
It’s an exciting time for the PTC, with leagues officially kicking off this week. They’ll culminate Opening Week with the special “Fun Day’ running from 10 a.m. to noon notes MacKay.
MacKay adds that it would be pretty impressive if someone was able to beat out stars like Felix Auger Aliassime or Leylah Fernandez.
The free event is open to anyone wishing to learn more about the sport, with one small ask from participants notes MacKay.
He adds why residents should come out and give tennis a try!
PTC executive committee members will be on hand to answer questions about the club, leagues, clinics and tournaments as well as taking registrations for the 2023 season.
