Cracked pavement, unpaved shoulders and monstrous potholes are some of the reasons why a local street might make the CAA Worst Roads list.
Thousands have voted and the results are in with Barton Street East in Hamilton taking top spot.
Assistant Vice-President for South Central Ontario, Teresa Di Felice, says crumbling infrastructure is always a factor for people voicing their displeasure, but there are some other things considered.
Di Felice adds bad infrastructure is far from just a ‘big city’ issue.
This year the list has been verified by the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario.
Focusing on the Western Region – York Road in Guelph was the worst, followed closely by John Street North in Stratford and Adelaide Street North in London.
