As we get set to welcome the summer season, a reminder is being sent out to residents about unauthorized activities at Lake Margaret.
Swimming in Lake Margaret at any time of year is a no go, with fishing opening on the lake as of June 24th.
That’s because under Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry regulations, no fishing is permitted from November 30th to the fourth Saturday in June each year.
You are reminded that non-motorized, recreational boating on Lake Margaret is permitted.
