A 31-year-old St. Thomas man is in custody following an assault in the city’s north end Friday.
He was arrested after it was alleged he assaulted a female partner causing bodily harm. He then forcibly confined her and was unlawfully in a residence.
The male was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
He was held in custody for a weekend court appearance.
