The child killed in Tuesday afternoon’s tragic incident on Talbot Street has been identified as 11-year-old Aiden Curtis.
He died after being struck by an out-of-control pick-up truck that veered off Talbot Street at Inkerman Street and plowed into a group of pedestrians.
A woman was taken to hospital in London with potentially life-threatening injuries. Three other individuals were not seriously injured.
Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Lemke has been charged with impaired operation causing death, impaired operation causing bodily harm and operation while impaired.
