A candlelight vigil will be held 7:30 this evening (Monday) in honour of what would have been Aiden Curtis’ 12th birthday.
He was struck and killed last week by an impaired driver with a female still in hospital with what had been life-threatening injuries.
Organizer Jennifer Vanden-Berghe says the vigil will be held at the intersection of Talbot Street and CASO Crossing.
Those attending are encouraged to bring red balloons – not for releasing – wear red and bring candles, battery-operated versions would be safest.
Vanden-Berghe is hoping to line up speakers for the vigil.
