An update from Southwestern Public Health Wednesday afternoon has now cleared all Elgin County beaches for swimming.
In their beach water quality update posted Tuesday, the health unit advised that Port Bruce, Springwater Conservation Area and Little Beach and Erie Rest in Port Stanley were in red status, meaning it would be unsafe to swim.
At this time, all beaches have now returned to green, with bacteria levels no longer posing a risk.
Beach water quality updates are also available 24/7 by dialing 2-1-1, Ontario’s free information and referral service or on the SWPH website.
