Ontario Minister of Affairs and Housing Steve Clark does feel the demand for affordable housing rapidly outpacing the ability to supply it can get a little overwhelming at times.
But he says it’s an all-hands on deck issue.
Asked if the government intends to focus on addressing the private housing sector any further, Clark said there’s interesting opportunities to do that.
The province aims to build 1.5 million homes by 2031.
