Attention local youth! Have the dog days of summer got to you already? Are you looking for some entertaining and skill building activities to keep you busy while school’s out?
The Ignite Youth Centre on Talbot Street invites those 12 to 19 years of age, to get involved in a number of programs they have running this summer.
For those unfamiliar with what they offer the community, Laura Dumochelle, a Child and Youth Worker at the Ignite Youth Centre explains further.
From movie marathons to a tie dye day, Dumochelle says they have something for everyone.
In addition to their schedule of engaging programs offered at the Ignite Youth Centre, Dumochelle notes that a number of services can also be accessed through their team.
She notes the countless benefits to youth in the community.
Dumochelle adds with Ignite being a branch of Employment Services Elgin, youth are able grow skills in resume building, interviewing and more.
For those hoping to learn more about what the Ignite Youth Centre offers, Dumochelle says to please reach out!
