An 18 year old St. Thomas resident is facing two impaired driving charges after police responded to a vehicle in a ditch Wednesday on Sinclair Avenue.
Around 5 a.m., officers located the reported vehicle and the lone occupant, who was asleep in the drivers seat.
Officers were able to wake the driver, who was later transported to police headquarters for testing.
As a result the 18 year old has been charged with Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs and Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The St. Thomas resident was processed and released on an appearance notice.
