The provincial government made a trio of healthcare announcements Monday.
The first from Deputy Premier and Minister of Health Sylvia Jones is aimed at those internationally trained in the field working in Ontario.
Jones said that’ll add as many as 50 physicians by next year. She also mentioned a new $40 million funding stream that health care partners can apply for, by pitching their ideas to enhance services and care.
Lastly, Jones introduced the Clinical Scholar Program, a mentorship avenue for recent nursing graduates to link up with experienced ones to aid their transition into the workforce.
