Following its revival back in 2019, a local festival which originated in the 1970’s, will make a return to village of Port Stanley this weekend.
Fans of the CALIPSO Festival will be in for a treat this year as Committee Chair Marna Berry promises a weekend full of favourites as well as some new addition.
It’s all about showing off the village notes Berry, with the festival name its self standing for “Come And Live In Port Stanley Ontario!”
In addition to local favourites such as the Boat Parade and Lions Car Show, Berry shares some of the new activities they have planned this weekend.
All the excitement begins this Friday night, with opening ceremonies hosted at the Port Stanley Legion.
And don’t forget to end your Sunday with a bang as the annual fireworks show is set to begin as dusk from the Berm.
The 2023 CALIPSO Festival will run August 4th to 8th throughout the village of Port Stanley, with more details available here and on Facebook!
