A multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Southwold has sent four people to hospital with serious injuries.
Just after 4:30, Elgin OPP and emergency personnel from Medavie-Elgin EMS and Southwold Fire Department were dispatched to Talbot Line, between Lyle and John Wise lines for a collision involving two transport trucks, an SUV and a car.
Four individuals, two from the SUV and two from the car, have been hospitalized.
The roadway was closed for the investigation but has since been re-opened.
