The Corner Cupboard in Aylmer was the scene of a farmers to food banks donation Tuesday afternoon.
A donation of 60 whole chickens, which will provide over 100 kg of locally-grown chicken for families and individuals in need, was made through the Chicken Farmers of Ontario.
It was a part of the CFO Cares program, which contributes over 1 million meals a year to local food banks.
Elgin-Middlesex-London MP Karen Vecchio, MPP Rob Flack and Alymer Mayor Jack Couckuyt were on hand for the presentation.
