St. Thomas Police continue to investigate following multiple reported thefts from parks in the city. The first incident occurred at 1Password Park between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, when entry was gained to the storage shed on site and a quantity of tools and a refrigerator were stolen.
On Sunday, police were called to Pinafore Park where approximately $16,000 in equipment was reported stolen after a break and enter to the storage facility.
Pinafore Park was hit again between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, but this time thieves targeted the Parks & Recreation office. A TV valued at $1,000 and an electronic tree measuring device was taken during the incident.
Police continue to review available video footage from the scenes while the investigation continues.
