A 33-year-old St. Thomas man has been arrested and charged after being identified as the suspect in a theft investigation.
St. Thomas Police were contacted on Tuesday, when a commercial work truck parked in the Southwick Street public parking lot was entered and had over $8,000 worth of specialized tools and personal protective equipment stolen.
The Property Crime Unit was able to locate the stolen items posted on Facebook Marketplace, resulting in the arrest of 33-year-old Aaron Watt.

-One count Trafficking in stolen goods
-One count Possession of property obtained by crime
-One count Fail to comply with probation order
He was later released with a future court date.
