This is National Breastfeeding Week through Saturday, and to help celebrate, Southwestern Public Health is hosting a special contest.
Our local health unit is inviting residents of Elgin county, Oxford and St. Thomas to share their stories or photos of how they are enabling breastfeeding.
All you have to do is submit your breastfeeding story online for a chance to win one of two $250 self care prize packs, including a $150 spa gift card, and a $100 grocery gift card.
It’s open to adults aged 18+ in Oxford County, Elgin county or the City of St. Thomas via contest form submission only, with winners selected by random draw.
Southwestern Public Health celebrates Breastfeeding Week each year as part of its Healthy Growth and Development program.
This program provides supportive services for parents and young children, including no-cost breastfeeding consultations for individuals who may need support.
Submissions must be sent in by 11:59 p.m. on October 7th, with full contest details available here.
