The trial of a man accused of killing four members of a Muslim family in an alleged act of terrorism is set to resume today with more testimony.
Nathaniel Veltman has been testifying about his life and events leading up to the June 2021 attack in London, Ontario.
The 22-year-old is accused of deliberately hitting the family with his truck while they were out for a walk.
Veltman told the jury yesterday that he drove to Toronto a day before the attack to explore the possibility of targeting Muslims in that city, but panicked and went back home.
He has pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
More details on the June 6th attack can be found in our previous stories.
